The city is accepting applications to fill a vacancy for a full member of the Conservation Commission, as well as for an associate member. The seven-member panel is responsible for administering environmental laws and policies, open space protection, water management, and other natural resources. Associate members receive all the materials presented to the commissioners, and are encouraged to attend meetings, but do not vote on matters before the board. Any city residents interested in serving should contact the city’s Office of Energy and the Environment at 781-393-2137. Applications are available online at www.medford.org.
