Developers seek a change in conditions

Owners of a residential development on Main Street in Malden are seeking an amendment to construction conditions previously set forth by the city. The development, which consists of six-story buildings, 195 residential units, 9,500 square feet of retail space, and 171 parking spaces at 464 Main St., received site plan approval last November with some conditions, including a requirement that all rooftop equipment be screened. Developer Priderock Capital Partners is expected to appear before the city’s site plan review committee to request that rooftop condition be dropped. The meeting is slated for Aug. 27 at 5 p.m. at Malden Government Center.
