In advance of its Sept. 22 Create Topsfield community arts festival, the organizers will sponsor a gallery exhibition at the Topsfield Town Library, on South Common Street, for the entire month. Supported by the Topsfield Cultural Council, the free Sept. 22 event will be at the Proctor Elementary School on Main Street, featuring the work of up to 50 artists from Boxford, Middleton, and Topsfield, from 1 to 4 p.m. It is supported with a grant from the Topsfield Cultural Council through the Topsfield Recreation Committee. Pieces will be suitable for all ages, and the artists will be present to demonstrate or discuss their work. There will also be art-related activities for children. For more information, check the town website, www.topsfield-ma.gov.
