Board resumes zoning hearings

The Planning Board on Thursday will resume public hearings on four zoning proposals. One is a request by Gutierrez Co. to rezone a 15.3-acre site off Route 3 as general industrial. The Burlington-based company wants the change to develop an office building on a Wheeler Road site. Another proposal is a request by Oracle America to rezone property at 6, 8, and 10 Van de Graaff Drive from general industrial to high-rise industrial. Oracle is seeking the change to construct a parking garage on the site, part of an existing Oracle campus off South Bedford Street. The other zoning proposals would create new rules regulating outdoor lighting in town, and revise rules relating to Planned Development Districts. All four zoning proposals are set to come before the Sept. 23 Town Meeting. The board will also hold a public hearing on a special permit application by Izumi Healing Massage Therapy to locate a shop at 279 Cambridge St.
