Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton will host two political speakers this month, former US senator Scott Brown and US Representative Frank Wolf, a Republican from the 10th Congressional District in Virginia. Wolf will speak on Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. on “The Role of the Pulpit in Shaping Public Discourse: Politics as Down Stream from Culture,” at the seminary’s Kaiser Chapel, to be followed by a lunch forum at Alumni Hall. On Sept. 28, Brown, a Massachusetts Republican, is one of the speakers scheduled for a counseling conference, “No Place for Abuse: Bridging the Gap in Situations of Domestic Violence, Abuse, and Sexual Assault,” scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about Wolf’s visit, contact ajames@gcts.edu.
