Markus Edmunds, Central Catholic: The junior linebacker was one of few bright spots for a Raider defensive unit that allowed 27 points against Lawrence Friday; he notched 12 tackles and a sack. He also caught a 29-yard touchdown pass and ran for two more scores in the 12-point win.

Shane Farley, Burlington: The 6-foot-3 quarterback completed 14 passes, four for touchdowns. The senior also ran one in as the Red Devils bounced Billerica, 48-26.

Jeremy Gillis, Marblehead: The senior captain hauled in four receptions for 112 yards — one a 34-yard touchdown — as the Magicians silenced Danvers 44-0.

Mike Nuernberg, North Shore: On just 11 carries, the junior rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns as the Bulldogs rolled over Tri-County Regional, 33-8.

James Sullivan, Tewksbury: The senior back rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he recorded a sack and a 55-yard interception return that set up a touchdown, sealing a 27-6 win over Chelmsford.
