Legion sponsors blood drive

American Legion Post 248 and The American Red Cross are holding a blood drive scheduled for Oct. 1 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Congregational Church UCC, 4 King St. Anyone age 17 or older, weighing 110 pounds or more, and in general good health may be eligible to donate blood. To make an appointment, call 800-RedCross or visit www.redcrossblood.org. Donors are asked to bring their Red Cross blood donor card or another form of identification.
