Preliminary mayoral election set

The preliminary election scheduled for Tuesday will feature four mayoral candidates vying for a spot on the ballot at the Nov. 5 general election. Incumbent Thatcher Kezer III is being challenged by C. Kenneth Gray, Jeffrey Hoover, and James Thivierge. Voting will be held in the Amesbury High School cafeteria from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The top two finishers will be on the ballot in the Nov. 5 election.
