Residents needed for committee seats


The town is seeking residents to fill community at-large seats on four new committees. The seven-member Economic Development Process Review Committee will review the town’s zoning and general bylaws to see if revisions can be made to foster economic development. The five-member Economic Development Committee will work to promote economic development, including by recommending programs to selectmen and working with businesses and state agencies. The seven-member Town Center Master Plan Committee will develop a master plan to improve the town center, and possibly to create a village concept for the area. Topics to be examined could include traffic flow, pedestrian access, green space, and business development. The Tewksbury Beautification Committee will help the town develop and pursue programs to beautify the town. Anyone interested is asked to submit an application to the Board of Selectmen and town manager’s office. Applications are available on the selectmen’s page on the town’s website, .
