Beebe Library is hosting several events this month that are part of the Wakefield Alliance Against Violence’s Civility Month program. The three events are sponsored by the Friends of Beebe Library. Each will be held at 7 p.m. at the library, 345 Main St. On Oct. 22, Megan MacNeil of Historic New England will present “The Lost Art of Etiquette,” examining the historical role of etiquette in visiting, writing letters, and entertaining during the early 20th century. On Oct. 23, in a program geared for teens and adults, comic artists and scholars Andy and Veronica Fish will explore the role of bullying in comic art. The third event, on Oct. 30, is an evening with Robin Abrahams, who writes the popular “Miss Conduct” social advice column for the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine. To reserve seats for the events, go to www.wakefieldlibrary.org or call 781-246-6334.
