Noel joins town as building inspector

Gerard Noel recently joined Middleton as the town’s building inspector, replacing Scott Vandewalle. He formerly worked for Community Teamwork Inc. as a housing inspection manager/rehabilitation manager responsible for housing development, rehabilitation, and inspectional services for a state- and federally sponsored program within 44 North Shore cities and towns, and ran his own construction company. Noel will work with building commissioner Richard Bienvenue to review and approve plans and issue building permits, demolition permits, and certificates of occupancy and inspection, and respond to complaints about structural safety.
