Residents have the chance to take part in two community Halloween celebrations. On Thursday, “Central Scare” is being held from 6 to 8 p.m. in Central Square. LynnArts is welcoming children to a Haunted House at its building at 25 Exchange St., while Extras for Creative Reuse is holding a Crafts for the Kids event inside at the Lynn Museum, 590 Washington St. “Spooky” music will be performed outside by Dave Simmons. On Saturday, North Shore Community College is holding its annual Halloween party from 1 to 3 p.m. in its Lynn campus gym, 300 Broad St. The party, which will feature performers, treats, games, and prizes, is free and open to all children 10 and under, but advance registration is required.
