Household waste collection day Nov. 2

The Marblehead Board of Health will hold a household hazardous waste collection on Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Marblehead Municipal Garage on Tower Way. There will be no fee to recycle clothing, textiles, and large plastic items. Fees for hazardous waste items will be $25 for zero to 10 gallons or pounds, and $50 for 10 to 25 gallons or pounds. Hazardous waste items that can be collected include: oil-based paints, fuels, poisons, antifreeze, swimming pool chemicals, polishes, driveway sealer, and flea control products.
