The chief of staff for the Methuen mayor’s office, Nancy Colbert Puff, has accepted a job as the town manager for Kittery, Maine. Colbert Puff, who joined Mayor Stephen Zanni when he took office in 2012, is a Lawrence native who lived in Kittery for seven years before moving to Methuen in 2008. Prior to 2012, Colbert Puff was the town administrator in Boylston for four years. Zanni credits Colbert Puff with working behind the scenes to advance projects like the high school renovation and expansion and for heading up improvements to employee health insurance and solar power installations. Zanni said he will begin the interview process for her replacement after the Nov. 5 city election.
