Local pathologist on PBS show about JFK assassination

Dr. Peter Cummings of Marblehead on Wednesday will be featured in “Cold Case JFK,” an episode of “Nova,” the PBS science show, airing at 9 p.m. Cummings, a pathologist in the state medical examiner’s office, is one of several experts featured in the program, which uses forensic science to try to solve unanswered questions about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy 50 years ago. Cummings spent years reconstructing Kennedy’s head wound to determine the bullet’s point of entry.
