The 19th annual Taste of Magnolia, featuring Cape Ann cuisine, will be held Friday at the Magnolia Library and Community Center on Lexington Avenue. About 30 restaurants will serve samples of their finest fare. Wine and craft beers will also be available for tasting. The event, which runs from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., is open to those age 21 and over. A silent auction and raffle will also be held at the event, which is the largest single fund-raiser for the nonprofit community center. Cultural events, which are open to the public, are held at the center throughout the year. Tickets are $30 and are available at the door, but may also be purchased in advance by calling 978-290-3734 or 978-979-7533, or by sending an e-mail to MLC.librarian@gmail.com
