Two properties sold at recent tax title auction

The city of Gloucester sold two properties for a total of $315,000 at a Jan. 10 tax title auction. The winning bid for a single-family home at 102 East Main St. was $222,500 from Richard Golf of Gloucester, and the winning bidder for two vacant land parcels that were sold as one property at 88-90 Riverview Road was David de Sieyes of Hamilton, at $92,500. There were more than 30 registered bidders and 60 people attended, said Paul Zekos of The Zekos Group, which ran the auction. John Dunn, the city’s chief financial officer, said that selling the parcels moved them back on to city tax rolls.
