The Cross Street bridge in Somerville reopened last week after a 10-month closure for repairs. Officials received $4.8 million in state funding for the work after the bridge was deemed structurally deficient. It had been shut to traffic since March 2012 before reopening Jan. 21. Traffic was rerouted from Cross Street, which serves as a connection between McGrath Highway and Broadway, during construction.
