Northern Essex Community College to offer STEM program


Northern Essex Community College this summer will again offer STEM College for Kids, a program designed for students ages 9 to 14 with a focus on fun science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The program will return to the Haverhill campus weekdays July 7 through Aug. 1. Participants may enroll for one week or all four weeks. In addition to science, technology, engineering, and math courses, a number of art and athletic programs also will be offered, encouraging children to explore different subjects, gain new knowledge, and develop new skills. The registration fee for the program is $35 per participant, but will be waived for students who register by May 1.
