Town Democrats will hold a Feb. 8 caucus to choose 13 delegates and three alternates for their party’s 2014 state convention. Organized by the Democratic Town Committee, the caucus will be held at Americal Civic Center, 467 Main St. The doors will be open at 8:30 a.m. with the caucus set to begin at 10 a.m. Any Wakefield resident registered as a Democrat as of Friday, Jan. 31 is eligible to vote in the caucus or run for a delegate or alternate seat. The state convention will be held June 13-14 at the DCU Center in Worcester. Its primary business is the endorsement of candidates in this year’s election for governor and other statewide offices.
