Committee planning for annual Memorial Day parade

The Stoneham Memorial Day Parade Committee is making plans for the town’s annual Memorial Day parade and ceremonies to be held May 26. The committee is extending an invitation to anyone who would like to take part in honoring Stoneham’s deceased veterans. Any club, group, organization, or individual is welcome. Volunteers are needed to participate in the parade, take part in the Memorial Day ceremonies, and decorate veterans’ graves. Parade committee meetings are scheduled to be held in Town Hall, 35 Central St., at 6:30 p.m. on the following Wednesdays: Feb. 12; March 5 and 19; April 2 and 16; May 7 and 21; and June 4 for a post-parade meeting.
