BankGloucester warns clients of debit card scam

Gloucester-based BankGloucester is warning clients and other area residents about a telephone scam that targets debit card owners in an attempt to acquire their personal information. According to a press release, the schemers will telephone a debit card owner and tell him or her that their card has been compromised. The cardholder is then instructed to input the card number and PIN numbers.
