Robot lobster arriving at library

Robots are coming to the Swampscott Public Library next week. In honor of Teen Tech Week (which is actually this week), Northeastern University graduate student Daniel Blustein will speak on “Building a Better Robot Lobster” at the library on March 19 at 7 p.m. Blustein is a graduate student at the Northeastern University Marine Science Center Biomimetic Underwater Robot Lab in Nahant, and he will talk about his work studying animals and the process of creating robots who move in similar ways. He will also bring a lobster robot, lamprey robot, and flying robot to the presentation. The presentation is free at the library, 61 Burrill St. For more information, call 781-596-8867.
