Voters to consider 35 articles at annual Town Meeting

Voters will be asked to consider 35 articles at the upcoming annual Town Meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. March 22 in the Abbot School gymnasium at 25 Depot St. Among the articles on the warrant: a proposal to establish a health insurance stabilization fund with an initial sum of $500,000; a request to appropriate $45,194 from insurance receipts to the Roudenbush buildings for needed repairs; a proposal to allocate $50,000 to a study to determine the space and functional needs of the town’s Fire Department; and several school projects, including the town’s share of roof repairs at the Nashoba Valley Technical High School and the replacement of windows and doors at two schools, the Colonel John Robinson School and the Norman E.
