Fund-raiser Saturday to benefit tumor fight

The fourth annual “Spring for a Cure — Molly’s Fantastic Faire” fund-raiser to benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation is scheduled for Saturday at Holy Family Parish, 9 Sparhawk St. The event, run by Amesbury resident D’Ann McBryan (whose 5-year-old daughter Molly has neurofibromatosis type 1), is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and features a superhero costume contest (featuring characters from comic books or movies), a live animal show, family-focused entertainment, games, prizes, a silent auction, raffles, and a free buffet. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children on the day of the event, or can be purchased in advance for $10 and $5 at www.mollybit.com. Children under age 3 are free.
