Sponsors, vendors needed for National Sand Sculpting Festival

The Revere Beach Partnership is seeking sponsors and vendors for this year’s Revere Beach National Sand Sculpting Festival. The partnership, which runs the annual event, recently announced that the 2014 festival theme is “Stars and Stripes.” The festival has attracted an average of 300,000 attendees each year to the nation’s oldest public beach. This year’s event, scheduled for July 18-20, will feature 15 master sand sculptors who will compete for first prize in a competition. The three-day festival will also include live entertainment, gourmet food trucks, fireworks, interactive learning zones, exhibit booths, and children’s sand sculpting lessons. The “Stars and Stripes” theme is intended to honor those who are presently or have served in the military, and area veterans organizations. For more information about the event and sponsorship and vendor opportunities, go to www.nationalsandsculptingfestival.com or call 781-902-9742.
