Stoneham

Town conducts tobacco compliance checks

The Board of Health recently reported that tobacco compliance checks were conducted in Stoneham on May 13. A 17-year-old youth, supervised by the town’s tobacco program coordinator, visited each of the 17 tobacco vendors in Stoneham. In all 17 stores, a clerk asked for identification and refused to sell a tobacco or nicotine product to the youth, according to health agent John Fralick III.
