The fresh native red raspberry ice cream, available until the end of the raspberry season in late September, is Benson’s most popular ice cream. As a sundae, it is topped with whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry, but what pushes the sundae over the edge is the Fresh Native Red Raspberry sauce, made on site. $10 for a regular sundae and $9 for junior.

The Gram Slam

Customers get to pick seven flavors of ice cream from among the 47 options on Gram’s menu. A homemade brownie, one banana, whipped cream, nuts, and cherries accompany the ice cream, with four other toppings of the customer’s choosing. It comes in a bowl shaped like a half baseball (though it is closer in size to a basketball), which customers can keep when they are done. Gram’s staff takes a picture of everyone who orders the Gram Slam, and posts it on social media sites. $25.

Lizzy’s own ice cream recipe is used for this staple. Founder Nick Pappas recommends a scoop of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, covered in homemade hot fudge, caramel, strawberries, whipped cream, cherries, sprinkles, and nuts. $10.06.

Salted Caramel & Chocolate Covered Pretzel Ice Cream

Uhlman’s Ice Cream,

Uhlman’s creamy vanilla ice cream is spun with ribbons of salted caramel and chunks of chocolate-dipped pretzels. It comes in four sizes ranging from baby ($2.25) to large ($5.25).

Black Raspberry Oreo Ice Cream

This flavor combines black raspberry ice cream with chunks of Oreo cookies, and is available in cups and cones ranging from kiddie ($2.56) to large ($4.76). Waffle cones cost 86 cents more.

Farfar’s signature dish has extra helpings of heavy cream, making it a great accompaniment to fresh fruit in the summer and on top of apple or pumpkin pie in the fall and winter. $6 per pint, $10 per quart, and in cones ranging from kiddie ($3) to large ($5.55).
