Peabody farmers market is open Tuesdays

Peabody residents again have the chance to purchase freshly grown fruits and vegetables and other locally produced items at the city’s farmers market, which recently kicked off its 2015 season. Through mid-October, the outdoor market will be open every Tuesday from 1 to 6 p.m. in front of City Hall, 24 Lowell St. Penny and Peter Srybny of Hereford Valley Farm in Andover, who have been regulars at the market since it began 13 years ago, will be back, offering a variety of produce, as well as honey. They will be joined by other vendors selling items ranging from organic bread and bagels to fresh eggs, soup, dried fruit, jewelry, wine, candles, and maple syrup.
