Ipswich opens renovated town hall space to public use

The town of Ipswich has renovated spaces in Town Hall and the Ipswich Visitor Center for public use. Residents may use the Town Hall gym, where the floor was recently replaced, as well as new meeting space in the building formerly occupied by the town TV station, ICAM. The gym is used regularly on afternoons and evenings from Monday through Thursday, and for special events on the weekend. including dances and cultural events. Spaces can be reserved on the Facilities page under the “How Do I” link at ipswichma.gov. At the visitor center on South Main Street, the restroom was renovated and expanded to allow access from the outside and to accommodate wheelchairs. It is now open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
