Marino chosen as Ipswich town manager

Anthony Marino, the acting town manager in Hanover, is expected to be Ipswich’s new town manager, pending a contract negotiation expected to be completed shortly. The Lynnfield resident has been the assistant town manager in Hanover for four years and has been acting town manager since last November. He previously served as Hanover’s director of community services and director of municipal inspections, building commissioner, and health agent. Marino was selected unanimously by the Board of Selectmen March 5 after interviews with the three finalists, who also included Winthrop Assistant Town Manager Joseph Domelowicz Jr., and Danvers Assistant Town Manager Robin Stein. The next town manager will replace Robin Crosbie, who retired.
