The Trustees of Reservations and its volunteers invite the public to join in the fun, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 22, as they illuminate the pathways and ponds of the Francis William Bird Park with pumpkins. Participants may bring a carved pumpkin and a small candle to the area around Willow Pond, bordered by Rhoades Avenue. Attendees can check out all the pumpkins and vote for their favorite, listen to ghost stories, play games, and enjoy treats. The event is free and open to the public.
