The Pinehills will celebrate its seventh annual Holidays on the Green on Saturday, Dec. 3. The day includes family activities, petting zoo, Victorian carolers, holiday performances, pictures with Santa, cookie and ornament decorating, and a tree-lighting. Pancakes with Santa is set for 10 a.m. to noon at Café Olio. Reservations are required. Seasonal shopping will be available at the Arthouse Boutique and village shops from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sculptors will create winter carvings from 1 to 4 p.m., and the Post Office will be open for mailing letters to Santa from 1 to 5 p.m. A “Reindog” parade is scheduled for 3 p.m., and families are invited to dress their favorite canines in holiday gear. - Christine Legere
