Recreation sites targeted by vandals in Marshfield

Sometime on New Year’s Eve, vandals wrecked the new skating rink at Peter Igo Park in Marshfield. The rink has since been fixed, but recreation officials worry about the recent spate of vandalism at town recreation facilities, and wonder what might be targeted next. Ned Bangs, director of Marshfield’s recreation department, said he planned to talk to the police this week about the recent spike in vandalism at Marshfield’s recreation facilities this winter, and discuss ways to prevent further incidents.
