Cohasset bakery savors buzz after TSA seizes cupcake

A Cohasset bakery named Wicked Good Cupcakes has learned that being branded a terrorist threat can be wicked good for business. Late last month, agents for the Transportation Security Administration at Las Vegas-McCarran International Airport confiscated one of the company’s “National Velvet’’ cupcakes that a Boston-bound passenger had packed for her family’s lunch. The hummus sandwiches and cherry tomatoes passed muster, but the red velvet cupcake packed in a mason jar for traveling was deemed a security risk.
