Register for free kindergarten

Randolph children who will turn 5 before Sept. 1 are eligible for the town’s free full-day kindergarten program. The Randolph public schools will hold a kindergarten information night Jan. 25, 6 to 8 at JFK Elementary School, 40 Hurley Drive. Parents can meet the principals and teachers from the town’s four elementary schools and learn about the curriculum. Families are encouraged to enroll early in order to ensure that their children are able to start on the first day of school. Registration will take place by appointment at the high school’s Family Resource Center, 70 Memorial Parkway, on Jan. 30-31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Feb. 1-2, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call 781-961-6247. For more information on the kindergarten information night or enrollment and registration, contact Monica Roberts at the Office of Family and Community Relations at 781-961-6200, ext. 240, or robertsm@randolph.k12.ma.us. - Wendy Chow
