Aquaculture hearing scheduled

The Board of Health plans to form a coalition of individuals and organizations interested in preserving the future of the Monponsett ponds. The group will work to determine the sources of pollution that are degrading water quality and find ways to address those sources. Local health agent Cathleen Drinan said the Board of Health “feels the time to act is now before any federal and state agencies impose programs or sanctions affecting our towns.’’ For more information, contact Drinan at 781-293-6768.
