An Informational Town Meeting, hosted by Town Moderator Howard Hansen, will be held tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. in the Stoughton High cafeteria. Hansen said the meeting is to explain the representative town meeting format and to recruit residents to run for seats at Town Meeting. After Stoughton’s recent redistricting, all Town Meeting representatives will have to be elected in the annual election on April 10. Each of the town’s eight precincts is entitled to 21 seats at Town Meeting. Voting will determine which members get three-year, two-year, or one-year terms. “My goal is to have every one of the seats filled in the new precincts,” said Hansen.
