Debating the ‘great decisions’

Big-picture questions facing humanity are the subject of a discussion series called Great Decisions, starting next month at the Holbrook Public Library. The topics will include Middle East realignment, promoting democracy, Mexico, cyber security, exiting from Afghanistan and Iraq, the state of the oceans, Indonesia, and energy politics. The library offers two groups – daytime and evening. The day group begins Feb. 1 at 10 a.m., and the evening group begins Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Participants can pick up materials at the library circulation desk.
