Election season kicks off


Nomination papers for the April 24 annual town election are available in the town clerk’s office. The ballot includes three-year terms for assessor, town clerk, Water and Sewer Commission, and Housing Authority. Two School Committee, Planning Board and selectmen’s terms, each for three years, are also on the ballot, as well as a single-year term for Water and Sewer Commission. The last day to take out papers for local political office is March 2. For more election information, visit the town’s website at - Christine Legere
