Young Braintree actress treads Boston boards

Braintree’s Rachel Padell has been doing theater “for a long time,’’ she says - many of her 16 years. The young actress and junior at Archbishop Williams takes the stage as Cinderella in Boston Children’s Theatre’s original production of “Calvin’s Monster’’ in February, a show about overcoming fear. The young actress has trod the BCT boards in many shows and has played sports but says “nothing gives me the love and drive that theater does.
