The First Congregational Church of Rockland will host the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus in the church sanctuary at 3 p.m. March 11. In its 30-year history, the chorus has sung for about 220,000 audience members and produced 10 award-winning CDs that have sold over 15,000 copies. According to officials at Rockland’s First Congregational Church, the performance of the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus is a first for the local community. By telling their stories through music, the chorus shares the gay experience. The performance is funded, in part, by the Rockland Cultural Council. Tickets, $15 each, are available by calling the church at 781-878-1790. - Christine Legere
