Printing office recycles

Braintree Printing, a digital and offset printing company, received a commendation letter in January from Norfolk Sheriff Michael Bellotti’s office for its recycling efforts. According to the sheriff’s office, the company doubled its amount of recycling generated in 2011, drastically reducing printing waste. Braintree Printing has been working with EOMS Recycling of West Bridgewater since 2008 to reduce its trash. Since then, it has identified an average of 15 tons of recyclable material a month. The company has also purchased eco-friendly equipment, including energy-efficient lighting. - Jessica Bartlett
