From Snow Ball to Snow Row

The second annual Snow Ball will take place March 9, from 7 p.m. to midnight, at the Nantasket Beach Resort. Tickets are $10. In conjunction with the Snow Ball, the Hull Lifesaving Museum will hold its 33d annual Snow Row the following day, starting at 10:30 a.m. The race features more than 100 boats tackling a 3.75-mile, triangular course that starts and ends at the beach at the tip of Hull’s peninsula. Spectators can watch the race from the beach or boathouse at Windmill Point, or buy tickets for a Harbor Express ferry that will board at Pemberton Pier at 9:30 a.m. Following the race, the museum will be open with free admission. More information about the events is available by contacting Lory Newmyer or Ed McCabe at info@hulllifesavingmuseum.org or 781-925-5433.
