The Fire Department recently recognized four call firefighters, including retiring firefighter Charles Chubbuck, for their many years of dedication to the department. Chubbuck will retire this month after 35 years of service. Fire Chief Kevin Robinson said the department presented a certificate and a retirement badge to Chubbuck on Feb. 15. Over the decades, Chubbuck has witnessed the department’s transition from what was mainly a fire-suppression unit to the fire, rescue, and emergency medical services it provides today. The department recognized Richard Ingham, Anthony Kindamo, and Robert Olsen with certificates and pins for 20 years of service.
