Town Meeting warrant set

Three articles will be on the warrant of the March 12 Special Town Meeting. One seeks approval of a temporary tax break that town officials recently negotiated with Cheer Pack North America LLC, a Plymouth firm that plans to relocate to West Bridgewater’s industrial park on United Drive. The other two articles seek appropriations to fund upgrades to the library building: $6,500 to repair deteriorated seams in the roof, and $45,000 for repairs to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. Selectmen closed the warrant last Tuesday. Town clerk Nancy Morrison, meanwhile, is advising residents that this Friday is the deadline to register to vote at the Special Town Meeting. The clerk’s office will be open extra hours Friday until 8 p.m. - John Laidler
