Chowder served during Lent


The Halifax Congregational Church on Plymouth Street has begun its chowder luncheons, which will be served every Friday until March 30. The lunch features choice of clam, corn, or seafood chowder, along with a dessert and beverage. Lunch attendees are asked for a donation of $7.
