Police advisory about DARE

Abington police are advising residents that calls for donations over the next several weeks from the DARE Massachusetts organization will not directly contribute to the Abington school district, which does not have such a program or any plans to begin one. Abington police are also advising that any phone calls requesting donations should be checked for legitimacy, and that if high-pressure tactics are employed you should hang up.
