Two candidates in selectmen’s race drop out

Former Selectman Paul Mortenson and political newcomer Richard Letson have dropped out of the race for Foxborough Board of Selectmen. That leaves incumbents Lorraine Brue and board Chairman Larry Harrington, as well as former state Representative Virginia Coppola and longtime School Committee member Martha Slattery. The May 7 election is being closely watched because it will have a big impact on whether Foxborough gets a casino.
