Troy Clarkson says he couldn’t resist placing his name into consideration to be Hanover’s new town manager even though he had renewed his commitment to his town manager’s job in Bridgewater last fall. “Opportunities like that don’t come along all the time, so you just have to grab them,’’ said Clarkson, who was chosen last week over 49 other candidates for the job.
